If you run a girls' section you have probably had the same tour conversation as everyone else: the boys' weekend exists, and the girls can "come along". That is not what this is. Every Revel Football tournament currently runs girls-only categories, and your girls team enters as a girls team, in its own competition.
The categories
Girls' Under 12, Girls' Under 14 and Girls' Under 16, at both the English Easter Cup (27–28 March 2027, North Wales coast) and the International English Summer Cup (23–25 July 2027, Manchester).
Under 12 plays 9-a-side with a squad of nine. Under 14 and Under 16 play 11-a-side with squads of eleven. All three are competitive categories: medals for all finalists and trophies for the winners of each final, presented on stage with the music up, the same as every other competitive category at the tournament.
What your team gets
The same package as every other category. The same pitches, the same qualified referees, the same tour manager and first aid, the same stage, the same finals and the same medals. Girls never play boys' teams. The girls' section travels and stays with the rest of the club, so the tour is one club trip, not two.
Harder to fill. So we fill it.
You already know the part most brochures leave out. Girls' entries land later and move more than the boys', age group by age group, and a category that looked healthy in the autumn can be thin by Christmas. Most girls' sections have had a season of ringing round to get a side out.
We are not neutral about that. The categories exist because we want the girls' game to grow, so filling them is our job rather than yours. We work the entries all season and go out to girls' sections around each tournament rather than waiting to see who turns up. Where the demand is there, we open a category for it. Entries are visible to us in real time, so the live picture is yours whenever you ask.
If your age group still does not come together, you hear it from us early rather than late, and we build you something that does work instead: a tailored trip with fixtures arranged against clubs we know. Your girls travel and they play either way.
If your club would host a travelling girls' team, a friendly, a place at your own tournament or a joint session, there is a register on the girls' football tours page. No commitment and nothing to pay; when we have girls travelling to your area, yours is the first number we ring.
Ask us before you commit
Send us the tournament you are looking at and the age group your girls play in. We come back within one working day with the clubs already entered in that category, how entries are tracking, and an honest read on whether to hold your place now or wait a few weeks. If the entries are not there yet, we say so and tell you what we would do instead. Either way you are working from facts rather than a brochure line, and that is the answer to give your parents.
The weekend
Everything in the tournament weekend guide applies: arrive the day before, group format on day one, seeded cups on day two, Saturday night entertainment on the parks, medals on the stage. Girls' teams are on the same fixture programme, not a side event.
Beyond the tournaments
If a tournament weekend is not the shape you want, or your squad falls outside the three age groups, Revel Tours arranges football tours for girls' teams: fixtures, travel, accommodation and a tour manager, built around your squad, your dates and your budget. Tell us the squad, the ages and roughly when, and we will cost it. See the tours page.
Booking
Same as every club: one Clubhouse share link, families book their own accommodation and pay their own deposits, balance ten weeks before travel, financial protection under the UK Package Travel Regulations. What the price is made of is in the cost guide.
Price it for your club
Tell us the tournament you are looking at, your age groups and roughly how many are travelling. We come back within one working day with dates, availability and a per-person price. You can also try the instant quote or check availability for your dates.
Phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and WhatsApp is always on. Contact the team.
