How much does a junior football tour cost, and how clubs pay for it

The honest answer is "it depends on the park and how many share a unit", which is no use to a parent who wants a number. So here is how the number is built, what moves it and how clubs pay it, so you can announce a price with confidence.

What the price is made of

Every Revel tournament price is per person and includes the accommodation. Specifically, for both 2027 cups:

• Team entry and access to all scheduled matches
• Accommodation in your chosen package (three nights on a park around the Easter Cup; hotels or university halls for the Summer Cup)
• Qualified referees on every game
• Medals for all in non-competitive age categories; medals for finalists and trophies for winners at each final
• A dedicated Revel tour manager and on-site first aid throughout

The tournament pages carry a live from-price for each cup and each park, and those numbers are the ones to trust: see the English Easter Cup and the International English Summer Cup. "From" is the lowest-priced option; most clubs land above it, and clubs travelling from outside the UK should ask us for a quote in their own currency with travel built in.

The four things that move the number

1. The park or hotel. Each accommodation option is priced separately. At Easter, the two coast parks and the Liverpool hostel are different prices.
2. The unit category. Parks grade their holiday homes (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum at Marine; standard and Premier at Talacre) and lodges with hot tubs sit above those. A family in a Gold three-bedroom pays more per person than one in a Bronze two-bedroom.
3. How many share. Prices are per person on a shared unit, so a full unit is cheaper per head than a half-empty one. Six in a six-berth is the sweet spot; two adults and one child in the same unit is not.
4. Length of stay. The park packages around the Easter Cup are three nights. Arriving earlier or staying on is possible but priced.

Extras such as stadium tours, coaching sessions and days out are not in the tournament price. They are built into the itinerary and quoted with it, never sold separately.

What is not in the price

• Travel to the tournament, unless you are on the Irish door-to-door package or have asked us to arrange a coach or airport transfers
• Food and drink, other than anything specifically included in a hotel package
• Travel insurance, which every traveller must hold
• Kit, and anything bought on the park

How clubs pay

This is where most organisers have been burned before: collecting cash, chasing the same four families, and carrying the club's money through their own account. Revel Clubhouse exists to end that.

• One share link. Your quote becomes a link. Send it to the group chat and every family books themselves onto the tour: they choose their unit, add their travellers and pay Revel directly.
• A deposit secures it. A non-refundable deposit is paid at booking. Deposits go straight to Revel, not through the organiser.
• Instalments. Families pay the rest in instalments whenever suits them. The balance must land ten weeks before the trip.
• Reminders from Revel. We send the payment reminders, not you.
• Your dashboard. Who has booked, who has paid what and where everyone is staying, live.

Cancellation

Deposits are non-refundable. If a family cancels more than 70 days before departure they lose the deposit only; 70 days or less and the full cost is due. That is why the balance falls ten weeks out and why insurance matters. Full terms are on the terms page, and every booking carries financial protection under the UK Package Travel Regulations.

Three habits that help:

• Announce the price with the fundraising plan in the same message. "It is this much, and here is how we make it less" lands better than a number on its own.
• Fill the units. Per-person prices fall when six share a six-berth. Pair small families up early.
• Let families spread it. The whole point of instalments is that a deposit in the autumn and a balance in January is easier than one payment.
