What is a football tour, and how is it different from a tournament?
A tournament is a fixed weekend with a draw. A tour is built around your squad: your dates, your length, your budget, and fixtures arranged with local sides at the standard you tell us the team is playing at.
Clubs and schools split fairly evenly between the two, and neither is the upgrade. If you want competition and a medal at the end, take a tournament. If you want your own itinerary and a destination worth the journey, take a tour.
Either way the trip arrives as one organised thing — fixtures, accommodation, travel, transfers and excursions — rather than as a stack of separate bookings you have to hold together yourself.
Where do football tours go?
Dublin and Ireland, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam and the Netherlands, Rome, London and Blackpool. Each is a live tour, priced and bookable through Revel Tours.
Tours within the UK and Ireland are the most common first trip — a short journey, a lower price per player and no passports to chase for a squad that has never travelled together. Continental tours suit a squad ready for a longer trip and a proper stadium day.

Who travels, and who organises it?
Coaches and parents travel with the squad, and the trip is built to let them — families book their own places on the same share link and pay Revel directly, so no one at the club is collecting money or running a rooming list.
For schools, your own staff lead the group and a Revel tour manager works alongside them on the ground, with risk assessments and trip documentation provided for your approval process.
