The English Easter Cup is the Revel Football flagship: the Easter weekend, clubs from Britain, Ireland and Europe, and the whole club staying together on the North Wales coast or in Liverpool. Tournament days are Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 March 2027; the park stays run Friday 26 to Monday 29 March.
The weekend
Two tournament days. Saturday runs a group format with fixtures staggered through the day; Sunday is seeded from those results into the Revel Cup, Revel Challenge Cup and Revel Shield, so every team plays its level on the second day. Qualified referees on every game, a dedicated Revel tour manager on site, first aid throughout. Medals for all in the non-competitive age categories, medals for finalists and trophies for winners at each final, presented on stage with the music up.
Age groups run Under 7 to Under 16 for boys, with Girls' Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 categories. Formats and squad sizes are in the 2027 calendar. Fixture counts follow the entries, so they are usual rather than guaranteed.
The parks
Three places to stay, all booked as part of the tournament package. Two are holiday parks on the coast; one is a hostel in Liverpool for clubs who want the city. Parks sell out before the football does, so the accommodation decision is the one to make first.
Marine Holiday Park, Rhyl
Close to the centre of Rhyl and its three miles of sandy beach. The park has a tropical indoor heated pool, Shipwreck Bay, an amusement arcade, a dedicated kids' club and three outdoor play areas, including the Shipwrecked Adventure Playground and Pirates Cove at the far end of the park. For eating and evenings there is the Mermaid Cafe, the Smugglers Cove sports bar and the Mariners Club, which runs live entertainment, plus The Shack outdoors with a burger bar, ice cream parlour, outdoor bar and heated beach huts. Accommodation is holiday homes in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories, sleeping four to ten, with lodges with hot tubs sleeping six to eight. Check-in from 4pm, check-out 10am.
Talacre Beach Resort, Talacre
On the coast steps from the sand dunes and the beach. The resort has a tropically heated indoor pool with a poolside viewing area, a sauna and steam room (ages 16 and over), an outdoor children's play area and amusement arcade, and family and kids' entertainment. Beach activities include WaterWalkerz, snorkelling, sea scooters and body zorbs. Meals and evenings are at The Bistro at the Talacre Beach Bar and Restaurant. Accommodation is holiday homes sleeping four to eight, with Premier grades available. Check-in from 4pm, check-out 10am.
YHA Liverpool Albert Dock, Liverpool
The city option. A refurbished hostel on Tabley Street, a short walk from the Albert Dock, with a bar and lounge, games room, restaurant, free wifi and free parking. Rooms run from shared dorms to private three-, four- and six-bed rooms, several en-suite, with bed linen, lockers and central heating included. The Tate, the Maritime Museum, the International Slavery Museum, the Beatles Story and the Mersey ferry terminal are all close, and the city centre shopping, music venues and the Cavern Club are minutes away. Pick this if your parents would rather have a city than a pool.
Between the games
On the parks, very little needs organising. The pools, arcades, play areas and the beach do the work, and Saturday night is the parks' Stay and Play entertainment: fancy dress, karaoke, live acts and a dance floor.
Off the park, the coast sits within reach of Chester and Liverpool, and this is the region's football country. Optional extras that can be built into the itinerary, on the right dates and subject to availability:
- Stadiums: Old Trafford tour and museum, the Etihad, Anfield and the LFC museum, Everton's stadium, the National Football Museum in Manchester, and Premier League or EFL match tickets where the fixture list allows. Stadium tours do not run on home match days.
- Football: a coaching session arranged with a local professional club's academy, a friendly fixture against a local side, or a goalkeeping or skills clinic.
- Days out: Chester, Chester Zoo, the Liverpool waterfront and the Beatles Story, a Manchester city day, Zip World in Eryri, Conwy Castle, Cheshire Oaks outlet, Rhyl beach, tenpin bowling.

Getting there
- Driving from Britain. Most clubs drive: Friday evening down, Monday morning back.
- From Ireland. Dublin to Holyhead puts you about an hour from the North Wales coast; Rosslare to Fishguard is the southern route. Revel offers a door-to-door package with a coach from your region, the ferry and the three-night stay. Details in the Ireland guide.
- From Europe by road. Calais to Folkestone through the tunnel, then the M6 north.
- By air. Fly into Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or London and your coach meets you at arrivals, with a Revel rep if you want one. Revel builds the ground itinerary; book your own flights.
