Vakantiepark de Oude Molen sits in the wooded, gently rolling countryside on the edge of Groesbeek, in the Gelderland hills close to the German border — around 500 metres from the village centre and about 10km from Nijmegen. The grounds are landscaped with mature trees and shrubs, giving each chalet and pitch a secluded, sheltered feel, while the pool, restaurant and playgrounds are all within easy walking distance.
On-site facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool with a 50-metre water slide and a paddling pool, a bar and restaurant, several themed playgrounds, an outdoor sports field and an outdoor fitness area. There is a children's activity programme in the high season, WiFi across the park, and a jungle-themed children's shower block.
Groesbeek is known for hosting the finish of the Nijmegen Four Days Marches each July, and the National Liberation Museum is close by. Walking and cycling routes through the wooded Groesbeek hills start right from the park, and the historic city of Nijmegen — with its shops, restaurants and River Waal waterfront — is a short drive away.
